BREEZE Husky Senior Female for sale in Coldfoot, Alaska

BREEZE's story
Breeze was surrendered to the shelter because she was reportedly too aggressive to run in team. Breeze was injured by another dog as a puppy, which could contribute to such behavior. However, in the shelter environment where she is not physically attached to other dogs (as they are when in harness) Breeze interacts well with her neighbors. Breeze has proven to have a high prey drive, so should not go to a home with small dogs or other small animals. Her previous owners believe that she may be a good prospective single dog to skijor with. Breeze is friendly with people and lived as an outdoor dog previously. She is enjoying the indoor dog life and is learning how to be housebroken- she is even learning the commands to look at her handler (focusing her attention), sit, and lay down! Breeze will need further training in her new home to help her understand the concepts of indoor living. She will be a great companion for an active person or family that enjoys the outdoors!
Breeze was returned to the shelter because she required more time then the owners where able to dedicate to her. She will benefit from more outdoor time then a normal house dog. Her previous home said she is potty trained and will let you know if she has to go outside by running circles. She will also need a home who are prepared to give her the exercise the breed demands.
