Namche and Khumba were surrendered to the shelter because they were not working out in their owner's team, preferring to trot at speeds they ran at and not working as hard as expected. The owner believes that they may be more suited for a recreational team that travels less than 17mph or in a distance trotting team. Both boys can be a bit growly around other males; they will be neutered at the shelter so this may resolve some of that behavior, or they may need to be placed in a primarily female team or at least away from other males.
