My story
Willow was surrendered to the shelter because her family was no longer able to care for her. Per her owner Willow is house trained, gentle when playing, friendly, and rides well in the car. Willow is a really sweet older gal looking to retire in comfort! Willow received an extensive dental with extractions while at the shelter. Her veterinarian stated that overall her bloodwork looks great for an older gal; her thyroid levels are on the low end of normal, so it is suggested Willow's new owners start her on a diet to help her lose some weight- if Willow does not lose weight accordingly, she should have her thyroid rechecked. Mutual visits with other dogs in a prospective home are encouraged since Willow does not love hyper puppies jumping in her face. It is unknown if Willow has ever lived with cats. Willow has previously lived with children but will prefer older, respectful kiddos who understand she is an old lady and needs a gentle hand.
